Sr. Anne Kilbride, O.P.

Assistant to the President for Dominican Mission

A native of Connecticut, Sister Anne has deep ties to the city of New Haven where she graduated from St. Mary’s High School and Southern Connecticut State University. Sister Anne received master’s degrees from the University of Notre Dame (theology) and Boston College (pastoral ministry). She served as prioress of the Congregation of the Dominican Sisters, St. Mary of the Springs (currently known as the Dominican Sisters of Peace). She served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the College for nearly 25 years. In 2009, the College conferred upon Sister Anne the degree of Doctor of Humane Letters honoris causa. Her primary focus has been to promote Dominican life and mission now and into the future. She currently serves the College as the Assistant to the President for Dominican Mission.

Edward Dunar, PhD

Edward Dunar, PhD

Director of the Meister Eckhart Center

Edward Dunar is the Director of the Meister Eckhart Center for Catholic and Dominican Life. He recently received his PhD in Systematic Theology from Fordham University, where he wrote his dissertation on the call of the church to pursue racial justice in the local contexts of cities and neighborhoods. He has published articles on ecclesiology, Catholic Social Thought, and urban theory. He also has experience in ministry and teaching in a variety of settings. In his free time, he enjoys science fiction, outdoor adventures, and theater.

Sr. Cathy Buchanan

Coordinator of Dominican Ministries

Sister Cathy is Dominican Sister of Peace and lives here in beautiful New Haven! She is a graduate of Seton Hall University with Masters degrees in Education and Pastoral Ministry. Sr. Cathy loves the Albertus family and is very passionate about promoting the Dominican values of Prayer, Service, Community and Study, especially with our Albertus students. As the Coordinator of Dominican Ministries & Service, she ministers by developing relationships with all the Albertus community family, particularly with our students, in order to foster growth in the Dominican Catholic tradition.

Sarah Reed

Sarah Reed

Chorus Director

Sarah Reed is a vocalist and teacher in the New Haven area. She is Chorus Director and coordinates music for campus liturgies at Albertus Magnus College. Sarah also teaches music at Hamden Hall Country Day School and Neighborhood Music School. She is a section leader with the Choir of Men and Girls at Trinity Church on the Green. Sarah also sings with the Yale Camerata, Composer's Choir and serves as a vocal coach and occasional soloist for a variety of choirs in Connecticut. A native of Missouri, Sarah earned a Bachelors of Science (Ed) degree in Vocal Music Education from Northwest Missouri State University and a Masters degree in Voice Performance from the University of Hartford's Hartt School.
