The Common Application

Here is a checklist of the required documents needed to apply:

  1. Complete an online application using the Common Application here:Common Application
  2. Official academic records
  3. Submit official, notarized, certified or attested copies of senior secondary/high school records and any post-secondary school (university/college) records, if applicable.
  4. If original document is not in English, also submit a word-for-word official translation by a bona fide translating agency.
  5. For students who wish to receive transfer credit for coursework done at an institution abroad, also submit a credential report from a NACES member (https://www.naces.org/members), or similar company.
  6. International Baccalaureate Diploma or IB credits
  7. Proof of English language proficiency by submitting official test scores from one of the following:
  8. SAT or ACT
  9. TOEFL Score (our institutional code is 3001):
  10. iBT:80 PBT: 550 CBT: 213
  11. IELTS Score: 6.0 or higher
  12. Personal essay
  13. At least one letter of recommendation in English from an academic source (professor, advisor, school principal).
  14. Copy of passport. If applicant is currently in the US, please also include a copy of visa/admission stamp, and I-20 from current institution, if applicable. If applicant plans to bring dependents, please include copies of dependents' passport(s).
  15. Official bank statement from the last 6 months

(USCIS requires proof of access to financial resources to cover academic, living, and personal expenses for first academic year in the United States. Albertus Magnus College does not have a Financial Aid program for international students.)

  1. Any additional information the student chooses to include as support for his or her application such as writing samples, personal essay, a portfolio or resume.
  2. Campus visit and conversation with an admission counselor.
