To the Class of 2025,

Congratulations on choosing Albertus Magnus College, and you have chosen a values-based liberal arts education that will push you and challenge you and bring out the best in you.

Our four Dominican pillars – study, PRAYER, community, and service – form a solid foundation for a life well-lived. Each pillar is represented by a color you’ve probably noticed on the banners around campus, and each graduating class is represented by one of the Dominican pillars.

Your pillar is PRAYERSPIRITUALITY and a connection to something greater than yourself. And your color is PURPLE. Purple the color of ROYALTY, the color of PERSEVERANCE. Purple sparks imagination and growth. It is enlightened, and it welcomes all. Purple is creative, spiritual, and compassionate.

YOU are a special class. You are the class of 2025, and you will graduate during the college’s centennial (100 Year) celebration. Each of you brings a special gift to the table. You can’t help it; it’s divine; it is given to you. Maybe you already know what your gift is, maybe you don’t – but don’t worry, we will help you find it.

And we will encourage you to share your gift with those around you because when we share the best of ourselves, we are all stronger and better for it.
These next four years are your time to shine. This is your time to grow, explore, and determine what kind of life you want to build.

If you never fail, then you are not trying hard enough. How will you learn just how amazing you can be if you never push yourself to your limit?
And you can do that here at Albertus Magnus College. These four years, this place, this is where the magic happens. Your faculty, your academic advisors, your Resident Assistant, your coach, your tutors, your classmates – are here with you to push you to your personal best. This opportunity is yours. Make the most of it!
