Residential Education

Residential Education is the area of Residential Life that involves all programming, events, educational initiatives, and community development within the residence halls.

Our dedicated staff members work hard to create a fun, safe, inclusive community within the residence halls. Resident Assistants (RAs) are student leaders on campus who live in the residence halls and provide assistance, leadership, and community building for their peers. They are the first point of contact for students who live on campus. The Residence Hall Director and two Graduate Residence Hall Directors are live-in professionals who supervise the RAs and help promote an inclusive community in the halls. These staff members also oversee mediation of any conflicts that may arise between students, as well as assist in handling issues of student misconduct.
