All students will have to be cleared by the Business Office, Financial Aid, and screened for temperature checks.

- Pillows and linens (Twin XL recommended)

- First Aid Kit
- Flip-Flops for showering
- Bed raisers
- Shower caddy/tote
- Blue Painter’s Tape
- School Supplies
- Air Freshener
- Fan(s)
- Flashlights
- Iron and ironing board (note: irons must have auto-shutoff)
- Memo/White Board for your door
- Small Rugs
Laundry Items
- Laundry bag or basket
- Detergent
- Fabric Softener (either liquid or dryer sheets)
Electronics
- Cable cords
- TV/DVD/Blu-ray player
- Video Game systems (i.e. PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox, etc.)
- Personal computer (either laptop or desktop and must have wireless capabilities; Ethernet or landline connection are not available; students may only bring 1 each)
- Surge Protectors/3-Prong adapters (must be UL approved)
Notice: only one of each item per room is permitted to reduce electrical emissions: radio, stereo, computer speakers
Appliances/Futons
- Students residing in Dominican Hall are allowed to rent a Micro Fridge.
- Keurig-style coffee maker
- Futons (new and inbox upon arrival only)

Prohibited Items
The following items are PROHIBITED in the Residence Halls:
Appliances
Including but not limited to:
- Coffee pots/makers
- Broilers
- Electric frying pans
- George Foreman grills and similar items
- Heating coils, hot plates/hot pots, and immersion coils
- Space Heaters
- Toasters, toaster ovens, griddles, and similar items
- Candles (with or without wicks) and incense
- Christmas trees (both live and artificial)
- Electric Blankets
- Flammable liquids (gasoline, gas cans, paint thinner, etc.)
- Window air-conditioner units
Notice: this includes open coils or burners of any kind
Decorative lights
Including but not limited to:
- Neon lights/signage
- Halogen lamps/bulbs
- Lava lamps
Furniture
- Outside furniture is not permitted.
- Lofts (bed raisers are permitted, only one set per resident)
Power cords
- Multi-outlet adapters are not permitted
- All power/extension cords must be U.L. approved with a surge protector and internal circuit breaker
Weapons, firearms, or explosive devices
Includes but not limited to:
- Fireworks, sparklers, etc.
- Knives (except kitchen knives)
- Example—B.B. and airsoft and paintball guns
- Other Items to Note:
- Nails, hooks, duct tape, double-sided tape, or other material that will damage the walls (Blue painter’s tape and “Command products are recommended)
- Pets (only fish are permitted in a 10-gallon tank or less with no heating elements)
- Power tools
- Cinder Blocks
- Subwoofers/amplifiers/bass equipment
- Vaporizers
- Water beds; Water coolers (i.e., coolers with the water jugs)
