Courses offered at partner high schools through Albertus Magnus College are the same in content and academic standards as those taught on our campus. High school instructors teaching these courses serve as Albertus Adjunct instructors and are required to meet the same qualifications and guidelines set by the College.

Albertus offers many 100- and 200-level concurrent enrollment courses that can be offered to partner high school students by a qualified instructor. Partner high school administrators and/or teachers should contact Melissa DeLucia, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs to discuss eligibility.

High school teachers will be approved for an academic year (and then re-approved). Our time frame for consideration spans from November 1 –  April 30.

Applicants must have a master’s degree. The appropriate Albertus Magnus College academic department will determine whether applicants meet the qualifications to teach Albertus course(s) as Albertus Adjunct instructors.

  • A detailed cover letter describing relevant background and qualifications to teach specific Albertus course(s).
  • A current curriculum vitae.
  • Official graduate transcripts.
  • A background check covered by the College.
  • A proposed course syllabus for each course for which approval is being sought.

Albertus Magnus College requires instructors to verify attendance rosters at the beginning of each semester. This is an important step to confirm each student’s enrollment in your concurrent enrollment course; this begins their official academic record at Albertus.

Justin Cirisoli, Registrar, will coordinate verification.

When students take courses through the Falcon Fast Track Program, the grades they earn become part of their official academic record at Albertus Magnus College. If they later choose to enroll at Albertus, these grades will count toward their GPA and be included in the calculation of their academic standing and financial aid eligibility.

The grade issued on the student’s high school transcript for the course will be determined by your high school’s grading policy and may be different from the grade issued for Albertus credit.

Justin Cirisoli, Registrar, will coordinate grade submission.
