Faculty Liaison

Faculty Liaisons are the academic partners who help ensure every Falcon Fast Track course delivers the same high-quality learning experience students receive at Albertus Magnus College. Appointed by their academic department, these Albertus faculty members work closely with high school instructors to maintain course quality, strengthen instructional partnerships, and support student success.

As experts in their disciplines, Faculty Liaisons ensure that concurrent enrollment courses remain aligned with Albertus curriculum, learning outcomes, academic expectations, and assessment standards. Through ongoing collaboration, mentoring, and professional development, they help create a seamless college experience for Falcon Fast Track students.

Faculty Liaisons:

  • Partner with their department chair and the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs to review and approve the credentials of new Falcon Fast Track instructors.
  • Lead course-specific training for new Falcon Fast Track instructors.
  • Share syllabi, assignments, and instructional resources to support course alignment.
  • Visit partner high schools to observe instruction and provide constructive written feedback.
  • Review course materials and assessments to ensure they measure approved Student Learning Outcomes at the same level of rigor as the corresponding Albertus course.
  • Maintain regular communication with instructors and provide individualized support as needed.
  • Offer annual discipline-specific professional development that fosters collaboration, instructional excellence, and engagement with the Albertus academic community.
  • Communicate any concerns regarding course quality or alignment to the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Through this collaborative partnership, Faculty Liaisons help ensure that Falcon Fast Track students earn college credit with confidence, knowing their coursework reflects the same academic standards, rigor, and expectations found on campus at Albertus Magnus College.
