Steps for Accepted First-Year Students

Complete the 2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to begin the financial aid process. Be sure to use the Albertus school code: 001374.

Accepting Your Offer Letter

Albertus participates in passive offer letters; a student is not required to return the offer letter to accept aid. Offer letters should only be returned if a student wants to decline a portion or all of their aid.

View your financial aid award on Net Partner. First-time users should activate their accounts by clicking "First Time Users" in the log in section and following the instructions. Please note that your student ID must be seven digits long and your date of birth should be entered in the Month/Day/Four digit year format (i.e. 1/1/1990).

Priority Deadlines

  • The priority FAFSA completion date is Monday, March 16th, 2026
  • All students who plan to start classes in Fall 2026 must submit all necessary financial aid documents to the Financial Aid Office no later than Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 .

Schedule a Weekday Campus Tour
We offer student-led campus tours Monday through Friday.

Attend a Saturday Session
Saturday Sessions are held throughout the year and are open to prospective students who are interested in visiting Albertus Magnus College. They start at 10:30 am with an information session led by an Admissions Counselor followed by a tour of the campus with a knowledgeable Admissions Ambassador.

Incoming class

Secure your seat to become an Albertus Falcon by submitting your enrollment deposit! Enrollment deposits are $400 for students who intend to reside on campus or $300 for students who intend to commute to campus.

To reserve your place at Albertus Magnus College, please submit your enrollment deposit as soon as possible Move-in day and Welcome Weekend are on Friday, May 1st 2026.  If you have any questions while submitting your deposit, call the Office of Admissions at (203) 773-8501 or contact your Admissions Counselor.

After submitting your enrollment deposit, a deposit packet will be mailed to your home address on file within one week containing important documents.

You must return the student health forms to Student Health Services in order to move in to a residence hall and/or attend classes.

New Student-Athlete Information

New student athletes must complete the following forms in addition to the aforementioned health forms listed under the Student Health Forms section:

  1. Student-athletes must hand in a copy of a physical completed no more than 6 months prior to the start of their season:

    • Fall athletes--February
    • Winter athletes--April
    • Spring athletes--July

    Physical Form

    PLEASE NOTE: Meningitis vaccinations are mandatory for all Albertus Magnus College students as required by the State of Connecticut.

  3. Sickle Cell - Disclosure Form

    • The NCAA now requires that all newcomers have to complete sickle cell test (newly passed legislation effective 8/1/22).
    • It is recommended that student-athletes reach out to their primary care physician or the hospital they were born at to see if they already have their test completed.
    • Student-athletes need to submit either the test result or the disclosure form completed and signed by their doctor.
  4. Concussion Course | THIS NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED YEARLY | Your completion certificate will need to be uploaded through Sportsware under "forms".

How to Upload Forms

Enroll in a Payment Plan

Students interested in enrolling in a payment plan can access their payment portal by logging into my.albertus.edu, then navigating to:

My Account / Self Service > Student Finance > Make a Payment > View Payment Plan Options

Please note: For students starting in the Fall 2026 semester, all tuition and fees must be paid or covered by a payment plan no later than August 1, 2026.

Health Insurance Enrollment

Student Health Insurance Information

Albertus offers optional health insurance plans sponsored by Gallagher Student Health. If you have your own health insurance, it is not required that you take on the Gallagher Student Health Insurance Plan.

To Waive Out of the Gallagher Student Health Insurance (if you have your own health insurance):

You may waive out by visiting the Gallagher Student Health website and clicking “Sign Up”. When creating your account, use your Albertus-issued email address and exclude the first 0 of your Student ID number (ex. If your student ID number is 0012345 you would type in 012345). Create an account and have your insurance card available to be able to enter it and waive out.

Please also be sure to submit a photo of the front and back of your insurance card and submit it along with your health forms to healthclinic@albertus.edu.

To Enroll in the Gallagher Student Health Insurance (if you do not have your own health insurance):

You may enroll by visiting the Gallagher Student Health website and clicking “Sign Up”. When creating your account, use your Albertus-issued email address and exclude the first 0 of your Student ID number (ex. If your student ID number is 0012345 you would type in 012345). Create an account and you will be able to see what plans you are eligible for. The health insurance will be effective from August 14, 2025 - August 14, 2026 for Fall students.

After the insurance is effective, please visit Wellfleet Student Insurance and create an account on Wellfleet. Make sure to include two 00's before your ID number (ex:0044444). Once you create your Wellfleet account you should be able to view and print your insurance cards.

*It is the student's responsibility to waive out of the Albertus-provided health insurance by the deadline. Failure to do so will result in being automatically enrolled in the plan and charged the premium. If you have questions in regards to the health insurance, please contact the Bursar's Office at bursar-list@albertus.edu.*

Housing Application/Contract

Housing Application/Contract will be available beginning Monday, May 4th, 2026. You must complete and submit your application and contract to ensure that you have a reserved space in on-campus housing. Residential Life will frequently email students who are listed as residents to remind them to complete the Housing Application.  The priority deadline for Housing Applications is Sunday, June 21st, 2026. Applications will be accepted after this date, but there is no guarantee that you will be able to select a specific room or request a specific roommate. 

To Submit your application, log onto our self-service housing portal. Make sure to use your Albertus Magnus College credentials (these are the same that you use to log into my.albertus.edu). If you haven't set up your Albertus email yet, please contact its@albertus.edu.

Room Selection

Beginning Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026 - Monday, June 29th, 2026, first year students will be able to participate in room selection. Students can log on to their self-service housing portal and pick their specific room as long as they have completed their application. Students who have not selected a room by Midnight on Monday, June 29th, 2026 will be auto assigned starting on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 at noon.

Final Transcript Request

For High School Students:

Please give the Request for Final Transcript form to your School Counseling Office. All final official transcripts with a date of graduation must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar no later than Friday, January 16, 2026, as the first day of classes is Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Transcripts can be sent to us via mail or email by following the instructions below:

  1. Final transcripts can be mailed to the Office of the Registrar in a sealed envelope, with the transcript embossed. They can be mailed to:

For Transfer Students:

Please request that all final official transcripts from all colleges attended are sent to Albertus Magnus College. You can request that your final transcript be sent to Albertus by visiting the college/university's Registrar page and request that the transcript be sent to us electronically via Parchment.

Your final official high school transcript with a date of graduation is required as well. Please contact your high school's Counseling Office to request that your final transcript be sent to us. Transcripts from your high school can be sent to us via mail or email by following the instructions below:

Undergraduate Student Orientation

Welcome Class of 2030 and New Transfer Students to the Falcon Family!

Your Orientation Experience

Orientation at Albertus is unique – when you are not in sessions learning about campus offices and resources, you are with your orientation group run by our student Orientation Leaders. We call them OLs, who are dedicated to welcoming you to your new home! You will be matched with an OL and a small group of fellow new students. Our goal is to make sure your orientation experience is memorable, welcoming, informative, and fun!

Orientation Registration

New Student Orientation is Required of all incoming students.

There will also be a Parent & Family Program during New Student Orientation, which is strongly encouraged. Please register any parents/family members to attend if they want to participate when you register yourself.

New Student Orientation for incoming students for the Fall 2026 semester will happen in two different sessions for incoming students – the dates are June 15th-16th (Session # 1) or June 17th-18th (Session # 2) – each new student will choose the session that best works with their schedule for the summer.

This orientation is required for all new students. The sessions will be in person, and will begin at 9 am and conclude on Day 2 around 12 pm. All new students are required to stay overnight on campus during the Orientation session. This will be a great opportunity to see what it is like to live in our residence halls, make friends and connections that can last throughout your time at Albertus Magnus College. All meals are included during the Orientation sessions.

Please check your email for a link to register for this orientation session after you have submitted your enrollment deposit.

Welcome Weekend

Move in & Welcome Weekend will take place Friday, August 21st, Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd, 2026.
  • Friday, August 21st is Move in Day for new residential students
  • Friday, August 21st, Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd is Welcome Weekend

All incoming students are required to attend the Welcome Weekend program (first year and transfers).

A link to register for New Student Orientation and Welcome Weekend will be posted in Summer 2026. You will also receive an email invitation to the email that you used when you applied to the College.
