Another Successful Albertus Magnus College Scholarship Golf Classic

Third Annual Event Funds Scholarships; Benefits Students

New Haven, Conn., July 20, 2021 --- Albertus Magnus College is pleased to announce that its Third Annual Golf Classic to benefit scholarships was held on July 19 at the New Haven Country Club in Hamden, Connecticut. The outing attracted 100 players representing Albertus alumni and benefactors and businesses throughout the state. This event raised more than $65,000 towards essential scholarship dollars for students.

“We are grateful to the businesses, individuals, and volunteers who support this event year after year so that we can continue to help transform lives,” said Albertus Vice President of Advancement, Mary Young ’91. “Community support and engagement is essential since 95-percent of our traditional undergraduate students receive financial aid in the form of scholarships, loans, grants, and work-study assistance.”
