Albertus Magnus College Named to Money’s Best Colleges in America List

With the start of its historic 95th Anniversary Year, Albertus Magnus College is receiving praise in yet another national college ranking, this being named one of Money’s 2020 Best Colleges in America, ranked by value.  This is the first time that Albertus has been named to the list under the leadership of Albertus President Marc M. Camille, Ed.D.

Albertus is among the top 40 percent of the 739 colleges that qualified for selection, as announced on money.com/bestcolleges.  To be selected for inclusion in the 700 plus ranked institutions among the more than 3,500 four year colleges in the nation, factors such as Albertus’ enrollment size, graduation rate, percentage of low-income students, affordability, and academic quality all were assessed.

Money’s recognition of the value of an Albertus Magnus College education is yet another tremendous accolade that comes as we celebrate 95 years of the College’s life- and dreams-elevating impact,” said President Camille.  “Over the past year, in particular, Albertus has been recognized by improved national rankings such as those published by U.S. News and the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education.  Since its founding in 1925, Albertus Magnus College has been dedicated to making an excellent, values- and liberal arts-based education available to students who might not otherwise have access, and to successfully preparing graduates for a lifetime of career success and civic engagement.”

Following 2019’s largest ever incoming class, the recently arrived 200 first-year and transfer students enrolling this fall represent the second largest class in the College’s history and were selected from an all-time record total of more than 1,750 applicants, an increase of 15-percent over the previous year’s then record total.
