Albertus Magnus College Blessed by Bishop Betancourt’s Visit

The Most Reverend Juan Miguel Betancourt, S.E.M.V., Auxiliary Bishop at the Archdiocese of Hartford, visited with students at Albertus Magnus College. After greeting College officials and taking a brief tour of the campus, a supper and panel discussion with Latino students about prayer and the Dominican mission took place. The event was held on Thursday, February 27 in the Atrium of the Tagliatela Academic Center.
Bishop Betancourt was born in Puerto Rico, graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Sciences, and received a Master of Divinity degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in Ponce. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, Bishop Betancourt is proficient in several other languages.
