Twenty Four Teachers Come to Campus in July

The Advanced Alternative Preparation (AAP) for Literacy Specialist in Reading/Language Arts Certification #102 Program welcomes 24 teachers from across the state to main campus July 6 – July 30, 2010.

Sixteen of the 24 teachers will complete their Capstone Project and will present professional development workshops at the end of July. Upon program completion, the teachers will have cross-endorsement certification as remedial reading/remedial language arts specialists (Certification #102) grades 1-12.  

The second group of eight teachers will be on campus to begin the graduate certificate program. They will spend their time here taking courses in language development and literacy assessment and conducting tutorial sessions with students from St. Martin de Porres Academy
