The Transfer Credit & Articulation Analyst evaluates student transcripts and syllabi
from other higher education institutions, the military and abroad. The goal is to
improve the transfer student experience via clear pathways and course transferability.

| Essential Functions |
- Prepare official transfer credit reviews and provide summaries of transfer credits
to students in all programs.
- Communicate with prospective students regarding their transfer credit reviews.
- Apply transfer credits accurately to a student's degree plan.
- Make updates to degree plans based on requested program changes, receipt of additional
transcripts, substitutions and waivers.
- Review transfer course approval requests for matriculated students to take courses
at other institutions including study abroad and consortia agreements.
- Work with the Registrar to maintain the course to course equivalency database which
includes assigning courses needing review and gathering syllabi and other support
documents as needed for equivalency review.
- Work with the Registrar on building pathways for articulation agreements.

| Qualifications |
Minimum of two years’ experience in an educational setting such as a Registrar’s Office,
academic advising, an academic department or an equivalent combination of education
and experience. Experience with CRM technologies in higher education such as Colleague,
Slate and EAB Navigate. Experience performing transfer credit evaluations including
international and veteran’s credentials.

- Ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse student, employee and public
populations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with tight deadlines.
- Must be organized, a self-starter and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Microsoft Excel and Google
applications; Datatel Colleague preferred.
- Working knowledge of college-level student records procedures, documentation, standards
and regulations (including FERPA).
- Strong communications skills, both written and oral; excellent proofreading and editing
skills.
- Ability to adapt effectively and quickly to changing policies and requirements.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

| Special Work Schedule Requirements |
Occasionally, evening and some weekend hours may be required.
