| Overview |
The Registrar Operations Assistant provides front-line customer service for students,
faculty, and staff in a fast paced environment. This customer-centric role will support
duties that are both, time-sensitive and critical and require a high degree of accuracy.
The Registrar Operations Assistant has the primary responsibility of assisting in
the daily operations of the Office of the Registrar which includes performing a variety
of academic records related and registration support activities and using various
information systems to enter and retrieve data and process student records.

| Essential Functions |
- Greets students, faculty and staff and assists with clerical duties such as answering
phones, overseeing the Registrar email account and assisting with daily traffic flow
of the office.
- Responds to student requests, researching and resolving problems, complaints and inquiries.
- Receives, controls, and maintains confidential student records.
- Assists with the data entry and maintenance of student records including transfer
work, graduation updates and general student record information.
- Processes transcript order requests and enrollment verification letters.
- Monitors room usage and reservations and assists in assigning classrooms.
- Orders all supplies for the office, tracks requisitions and submits work orders.
- Maintains the internal website and digital signage.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

| Qualifications |
Minimum of two years’ experience in an educational setting such as a Registrar’s Office,
academic advising, an academic department or an equivalent combination of education
and experience. Experience with CRM technologies in higher education such as Colleague,
Slate and EAB Navigate. Welcoming and positive demeanor.

Associate’s degree or equivalent college credits.

- High degree of integrity; ability to work in a sensitive, highly confidential and
professional environment.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse student, employee and public
populations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail
and high degree of accuracy.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications; Datatel Colleague
preferred.
- Working knowledge of college-level student records procedures, documentation, standards
and regulations (including FERPA).
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

| Special Work Schedule Requirements |
Working Conditions: Work will be performed in an office environment with a significant amount of public
contact, in person, by telephone and via email. Extensive computer use.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30-4:30 PM, including two nights per week until 6:00 PM. The successful
candidate must be flexible with their hours to meet the needs of the office.
