| Overview |
This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources in a variety
of day to day activities including:
- Assist in the administration of policies, procedures and controls including: preparation
of unemployment claims; employment verifications, I-9 forms, exit interviews, update
and issuance of College employee manuals, communications, wage verifications, office
administration, etc.
- Assist in recruitment of exempt/non-exempt employees
- Assist with the employee onboarding process, providing benefit information to new
employees. Create benefits and new hire packages, and help with keeping new forms
current
- Assist in administration of employee benefit programs which include such things as
medical, dental, life insurance plans and retirement plans, etc.
- Assist with developing and maintaining new employee orientation
- Manage required employee trainings (FERPA, Title IX, Sexual Harassment)
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Human Resources

| Qualifications |
Basic Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in the field of Human Resources
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Technical proficiency Microsoft Office Suite
- Good organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Related experience in Higher Education
- Knowledge of Datatel Colleague System
- Knowledge of google products such as google docs, email, forms and spreadsheets

This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
