Overview
  • Assists in the development and implementation of daily practice plans to insure proper preparation for intercollegiate competition.
  • Assists in meet management as well as travel to and from away contests.
  • Promotes the visions and values of Albertus Magnus College by emphasizing the experience and education of each student-athlete as the most important component of intercollegiate athletic participation.
  • On deck coaching duties specified by the head coach.
  • Administrative duties specified by the head coach.
  • Video analysis.

Essential Functions
  • Recruiting Divers for the Collegiate Division III Women’s Swimming & Diving program.
  • Designing diving training plans.
  • Scoring Diving competitions at Collegiate dual and championship meets.
Qualifications
  • Prior collegiate diving experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • A general understanding of the recruiting process at the Division III college level.
  • A demonstrated commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy regarding the student-athlete experience.
  • Ability to work with diverse population.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic and diverse college setting.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass background check.
Knowledge | Skills | Abilities
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certified or willingness to become certified.
  • Certified USA Diving Coach or willingness to become certified.
Special Work Schedule Requirements
  • Evening and some weekend hours required.
