| Overview |
Albertus Magnus College, a Catholic, Liberal Arts College, located in New Haven, Connecticut,
is currently accepting applications for the position of Associate Director of Admissions.
This full-time, 12 month position involves assisting with the oversight of the day-to-day
operations of the Admissions Office, including, but not limited to, managing and maintenance
of Slate in collaboration with Enrollment Operations, coordination of individual and
group tours, leading the student ambassador program, and providing hospitality to
prospective students and their families.
A considerable portion of the position requires event planning. This person is responsible
for creating, implementing, promoting, planning, and staffing campus events throughout
the year. Examples include, but are not limited to, Open House, Accepted Student
Day and other recruitment-related functions.

| Essential Functions |
- Planning of all Traditional Undergraduate events.
- Collaboration with Enrollment Operations regarding Slate management
- Coordinate group and individual tours.
- Oversee and lead the student ambassador program.
- Attention to detail is imperative to success in this role.
- This person will participate in recruitment events and work on related projects.
- This person will achieve assigned individual and team goals.
- This person is responsible for vendor relations, negotiating vendor contracts and
maintaining an allocated budget.
- This person is responsible for the hiring and managing of federal work-study students
and student ambassadors.
- In collaboration with the Director, this person will assist with the supervision of
Admissions Counselors.
- This person will support Admissions Counselors in their recruitment efforts, when
necessary.

| Qualifications |
- Valid driver’s license, excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability
to organize, work well under pressure, multitask, pay attention to detail, and maintain
confidentiality; knowledge of Google suite.

- Earned Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree

- Knowledge of Slate (Customer Relationship Management system); at least 5 years prior
admission experience; event planning/management.
