| Overview |
This full-time, 12 month position develops strong relationships with Albertus Magnus
College employer partners to enhance workforce development through education; builds
the Albertus Magnus market position by expanding our partnerships within the community
to recruit and retain students in Albertus’ adult undergraduate and graduate degree
and certificate programs; closes new business opportunities by coordinating requirements,
negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with business operations;
and relays workforce development needs and opportunities to Academic staff so that
they may develop new and innovative academic programs to meet those needs.
This position requires extensive travel within Connecticut to meet with employers,
Chambers of Commerce and other workforce related groups, and entails occasional evening
and weekend hours. This position also assists in planning and participates in recruitment
events on and off campus, and works colleagues on related projects.
In the absence of the Director, this position oversees the day-to-day activities of
the Office of Admission. This individual also assists the Director in long-term planning/projects.

| Essential Functions |
Builds connections with Connecticut employers that help grow enrollments in Albertus
Magnus College’s division of Professional and Graduate Studies.
Expands Albertus Magnus College’s presence and visibility within the local business
and non-profit communities.
Assists the Director of PGS Admissions as needed.

| Qualifications |
Ability to work as well independently as on a team; excellent written and verbal communication
skills; English/Spanish bi-lingual strongly preferred; strong organizational skills
and attention to detail; works well under pressure, and maintain confidentiality;
proficient in Microsoft Office and Google office tools (email/calendar/docs/sheets,
etc.) Available to travel freely with a valid driver’s license and reliable automobile
transportation. The ideal candidate would have a track record of community and corporate
engagement and business development within Connecticut and an established network
of business and non-profit connections.

A Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree or relevant experience valued.

The ideal candidate possesses existing connections and non-profit employer community
and can leverage those connections to help Albertus Magnus College meet workforce
development needs and grow enrollments. English/Spanish bi-lingual is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Datatel Colleague System; knowledge of Slate (Customer Relationship Management
system), event planning experience, communication management, experience with social
media platforms; at least 2 years prior admission experience; event planning/management.

| Special Work Schedule Requirements |
- This position represents Albertus Magnus College to employers and other partners in
the community and must exhibit the highest levels of maturity and ethics. Attendance
at outside events which may occur on nights and weekends is part of this position.
