Overview Responsible for the processing and payment of all vendor payments for the College, including financial aid refunds and employee reimbursements.

Essential Functions
  • Receive and process requisitions/invoices for payment.
  • Ensure compliance with College policy and budget.
  • Process all financial aid refunds in compliance with federal laws.
  • Input vouchers into accounts payable module.
  • Process checks.
  • Initiate ACH and wire transfer payments
  • Collect all W-9 from vendors where applicable.
  • Produce reports and reconcile information to the College’s general ledger.
  • Provide daily information for the College’s overall cash management system.
  • Balance the monthly American Express bill.
  • Record in Point n’ Pay all advancement donations, site rentals, falcon store cash sales and any miscellaneous money that comes in. 
  • Make all deposits that come to the business office. This includes cash payments, advancement donations, site rentals, student payments and Falcon store cash sales.
Qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply office routines and academic policies and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; team player with positive attitude.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under stress, and understand complexities of federal and state regulations as they relate to financial aid disbursements.
  • Integrity, punctuality, dependability, reliability, flexibility.
Education High school diploma, or equivalent.
Knowledge | Skills | Abilities
  • Accounts payable experience.
  • Customer service and accounts receivable experience preferred.
  • College/University experience is desirable
  • Must be proficient in data entry, Excel and Word.
  • Proficiency with Colleague is a plus.
Special Work Schedule Requirements Occasional overtime may be required.
