COVID-19 Information

Albertus Magnus College campuses follow the guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), the State of Connecticut, and local health departments. To ensure the safety, health, and well-being of the Albertus Community, effective July 1, 2022 all members — Students, Faculty, and Staff — who are on campus are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and to remain up to date in their vaccinations, including receiving a booster when eligible.

While masks are not mandated, we are a community and rely on one another to stay healthy. The College respects the right for any individual to continue to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. In the spirit of the Four Pillars, the College asks that all members of the Albertus community — including students, faculty, staff, and visitors — act in a manner that demonstrates respect and consideration for those around them, including for the health and safety of all community members.

The College strongly encourages that all visitors to campus be vaccinated and boosted against the COVID-19 virus.

Please Note: The policies and protocols of the College presented here may be adjusted over time as guidance from local and federal authorities may change. Please check this site regularly for updated information.

Flu Vaccination Information

Flu season arrives annually in mid-Fall and is at its worst the last week of December and first week of January.

Flu vaccines and COVID-19 vaccines are available on campus and in the community and are strongly recommended.  It takes 2 weeks for your body to respond to a vaccine, so it's important to plan accordingly.  Experts recommend that everyone ages 6 months and up* get a flu vaccine before the end of October.  *not including individuals with a medical contraindication to immunization.
