Albertus Magnus College’s 7th Annual Golf Classic Scores Amazing Results
Proceeds Benefit Life-changing Scholarships
New Haven, Conn., June 30, 2025 – Albertus Magnus College welcomed 104 golfers to New Haven Country Club on June 23, 2025 for its seventh annual Golf Classic, an event that raises essential scholarship funds to transform and empower lives through education — as Albertus has been doing for almost 100 years.
Thanks to the enormous generosity of Albertus alumni, friends, and businesses throughout the state, this year’s event garnered nearly $130,000 in scholarship support. Since its inception, the Golf Classic has raised a total of $600,000 to benefit deserving Albertus students. Now entering its Second Century of Excellence, scholarship support continues to be an institutional priority of Albertus, helping to attract outstanding students, make their college degree more affordable, and enabling them to concentrate more fully on their studies and full educational experience.
“For many, the promise of a college degree is out of reach. Here at Albertus, not only is an experiential educational opportunity possible, it’s achievable because of the generosity of others,” said Interim Vice President for Advancement Kierran Broatch. “By supporting this tournament, Albertus alumni and friends positively impact the lives of our students and invest in the leaders of tomorrow. For that commitment, we are incredibly grateful.”
This year, Noble Wealth Advisors of Janney Montgomery Scott was the event’s Centennial Champion Sponsor and will be featured prominently during the College’s year-long 100th Anniversary celebration that kicks-off in September.
