NEW HAVEN, Conn., June 25, 2025 – Coinciding with Albertus Magnus College's approaching Centennial celebration, the College's Athletics Department has announced a redesign of its Falcon mascot logo and the Albertus "A" monogram, effective immediately. The College partnered with SimpsonScarborough of Alexandria, Va., for the development of the new athletics logo and additional collateral in conjunction with its Centennial year.

Albertus Monogram

“As Albertus Magnus College boldly embarks on its Centennial year celebration and into its second 100 years, our new athletics marks better represent the competitive spirit of "Fearless Falcons" athletics and reflect the forward momentum of the College and our athletic department,” said Director of Athletics Michael Kobylanski. “Seeking a freshened, distinctive Falcon logo, the creative process included feedback from Albertus athletics coaches, staff, student-athletes, and alumni. That feedback and vision was transformed into a brand identity that will forge a path into the years ahead.”

The new athletics marks standardize the logos utilized by the Falcons’ 18 intercollegiate programs, along with its spirit squads. The Falcon logo and "A" monogram include elements from the College’s history and Dominican tradition and will enable each NCAA offering to utilize team-specific options.

Immediate implementation of the new athletics logo will be evident on the Albertus Magnus College athletics website, www.albertusfalcons.com, and through all official athletic department social media platforms on Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook and YouTube.

In addition, new signage will be installed at selected athletic venues in the near future. Future plans for logo enhancement will address additional areas inside the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center, along with Celentano Field, the Shea Softball Complex and beyond.
