Albertus Magnus College Makes Major Gains in US News & World Report Rankings
Top Performer on Social Mobility for Six Consecutive Years Adds to Centennial Celebration
New Haven, Conn., September 23, 2025 – Just a day before Albertus Magnus College officially commemorates its 100th Anniversary as an institution of higher learning that transforms lives through education while seeking joy, passion, and purpose — it celebrates a significant increase in the 2025-2026 US News & World Report “Best Colleges” rankings.
For the sixth straight year, Albertus has earned this prestigious recognition. Albertus ranked #98 amongst Regional Universities North — up from #120, a jump of 22 places. It also received accolades in the Social Mobility category — coming in at 23rd (up 25 places), the highest ranked school in Connecticut among Regional Universities North.
As a Top Performer in Social Mobility, Albertus is recognized among Regional Universities North for its success in graduating low-income students who receive Federal Pell Grants, the sixth consecutive year the College has been lauded by US News for its upward socio economic mobility efforts.

The US News honor for Albertus comes on the heels of strong showings in other recent national rankings. Earlier this year, the College was named a Top Online Program by US News & World Report, achieved Silver Status as a, Military Friendly® School for 2025-2026, and was named one of Money’s Best Colleges in America list for 2025.
