| Description | Sarah Ballough MSN, RN comes to Albertus Magnus College with more than 20 years of experience in nursing practice and nursing education. She has been a registered nurse since 2003 and has taught in laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at Quinnipiac University with both traditional and accelerated students. Her teaching background includes Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and clinical simulation and skills laboratory across the nursing curriculum. She previously served as a Clinical Coordinator & Instructor at the University of Connecticut, where she supported undergraduate nursing students and collaborated with clinical partners to promote high-quality clinical learning experiences.
Her clinical background includes practice within Yale New Haven Health System and UConn Health in medical-surgical nursing, cardiac care, community health, and student health, as well as serving most recently as a nursing supervisor at UConn Health Hospital. Her professional interests include holistic nursing practice and nursing education, high-fidelity simulation and lab-based instruction, supporting student success, and helping students integrate theory into clinical practice. Sarah Ballough graduated from Quinnipiac University with both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American Holistic Nurses Association. | |
