As Albertus Magnus College prepares to embark on its second century of excellence, it celebrates another milestone: earning a spot once again on Money’s prestigious Best Colleges in America list for 2026. Money’s evaluation uses an innovative analysis focused on academic quality, affordability, and post-graduate outcomes. Albertus is one of only 13 Connecticut institutions to earn a place on this year’s list.

Instead of using a traditional numeric ranking, Money assigns higher education institutions a star rating, grouping together schools with similar scores based on weighted performance metrics. Money’s metrics considered more than 2,400 four-year public and private non-profit colleges, narrowing the list to just 735 top-rated institutions that met rigorous baseline enrollment, graduation, and financial standards.

Albertus Magnus College provided Aliza "Ali" Esposito ’20 with the foundation to pursue her passion and build a career dedicated to public service. Albertus’ inclusion on Money’s Best Colleges list builds on several other prominent honors received this year. In the latest U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings, Albertus Magnus College placed in Regional Universities North and in Top Performers on Social Mobility. The College was also designated as a Military Friendly® School.
