Albertus Magnus College will officially launch the Carol G. Ditkoff ’67 Immersive Learning Collaboratory on Wednesday, September 23, inviting members of the media to experience firsthand how immersive virtual reality is transforming the classroom.

Made possible by a historic $3 million gift from alumna Carol Gutoski Ditkoff ’67 and her husband, James, the Collaboratory brings Dreamscape Learn to Albertus, making the College the first college in New England to offer students this immersive learning technology.

Dreamscape Learn places students inside cinematic, interactive virtual environments designed to bring academic concepts to life. Media will have the opportunity to capture b-roll of a live classroom demonstration and interview students, Albertus President Marc M. Camille, Ed.D., Dreamscape Learn leadership, and Dr. Tarishi Verma, Inaugural Director of the Collaboratory.

Founded in 1925, Albertus is a coeducational Catholic College in the Dominican tradition.
