As Albertus Magnus College concludes its historic Centennial year and enters its second century of excellence, it celebrates a continued presence in the latest U.S. News & World Report “Best Colleges” rankings as a top 100 school in Regional Universities North for the second year in a row.

For the seventh straight year, Albertus has also been named among the Top Performers on Social Mobility, ranking 26th among Regional Universities North and as the highest-ranked school in Connecticut in the category. This measure recognizes the College’s success at advancing social mobility by enrolling and graduating large proportions of low- income or underserved students. The impact of that work is evident in the College’s post-graduation success: for ten consecutive years, at least 95% of Albertus graduates have attained employment or entered graduate studies within six months of completing their degrees.

The U.S. News honor for Albertus comes on the heels of strong showings in other recent national rankings. Earlier this year, the College was designated as a Military Friendly® School and was named as one of Money’s Best Colleges in America in its list for 2026.

Founded in 1925, Albertus is a coeducational Catholic College in the Dominican tradition. Albertus’ values- and liberal arts-based education is recognized by external rankings such as US News & World Report, Money, and The New York Times, and has been named a Top 10 Military Friendly School.
