Albertus Magnus College will officially welcome the Class of 2030 on Friday, August 21, as new students and their families arrive for Move-In Day, kicking off an exciting new academic year defined by innovation, community, and opportunity.

As the first incoming class to begin their Albertus experience after the College’s Centennial celebration, the Class of 2030 enters a campus that continues to evolve with bold academic initiatives, expanded student opportunities, and a renewed vision for its second century.

New students will be greeted by President Marc M. Camille, Ed.D., faculty, staff, student leaders, and the College’s beloved mascot, Frankie Falcon, as volunteers help families settle into their new home in New Haven. The annual Move- In Day tradition reflects Albertus’ commitment to creating a warm, welcoming community from the moment students arrive.

First-Year Students to Experience Dreamscape Learn

The Class of 2030 will be the first cohort of incoming students to experience Dreamscape Learn at Albertus Magnus College. Combining immersive virtual reality technology with evidence-based teaching practices, Dreamscape Learn transforms traditional coursework into interactive, cinematic experiences that deepen student engagement and understanding.

A New Look for Frankie and a Warm Welcome to the Class of 2030

Move-In Day will also introduce students to a reimagined Frankie Falcon, whose refreshed look reflects the energy, pride, and momentum of Albertus Magnus College as it enters its second century.

Following Move-In Day, students will participate in Welcome Week, a series of orientation programs, traditions, and community-building experiences designed to help them connect with classmates, faculty, and campus before the start of the fall semester.

About Albertus Magnus College

Founded in 1925, Albertus is a coeducational Catholic College in the Dominican tradition. Albertus’ values- and liberal arts-based education is recognized by external rankings such as US News & World Report, Money, and The New York Times, and has been named a Top 10 Military Friendly School. For ten consecutive years, at least 95% of Albertus graduates have attained employment or entered graduate studies within six months of completing their degrees.
