Albertus Magnus College celebrates the accomplishments of its alumni through three award categories that recognize exceptional achievement, leadership, and service. These honors reflect the College’s Dominican values and acknowledge graduates who have made meaningful contributions to their professions, communities, and the broader world. By highlighting alumni whose lives exemplify excellence and commitment, these awards honor both individual distinction and the enduring impact of an Albertus Magnus College education.
2026 Alumni of the Year (Undergraduate)
Joan exemplifies the lifelong commitment to Albertus Magnus College and the spirit of service. A dedicated alumna, community leader, and accomplished professional, Joan has remained deeply connected to Albertus for more than six decades, giving generously of her time, talents, and leadership to strengthen the College and its alumni community.
2026 Alumni of the Year (Graduate)
James is a respected business leader and community advocate whose career and personal life reflect an extraordinary commitment to leadership, service, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As President and CEO of Skyline Financial Federal Credit Union, James has built a reputation for strategic vision, integrity, and a deep commitment to helping individuals, families, and organizations achieve financial stability and success.
2026 Premier Achievement Award
Since graduating from Albertus, Julia has built an accomplished career dedicated to improving the educational and mental health outcomes of children and their families. She earned her doctoral degree in School Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and has gained extensive experience in a variety of educational and clinical settings.

The Alumni of the Year Award shall be presented to a living member of the Association who has attained preeminence in his/her life through outstanding professional, scholarly, and artistic achievement; who is devoted to serving others through volunteer/community service work; or who has manifested extraordinary loyalty and dedication to the College. This award is presented annually to one undergraduate alumna/us and one graduate alumna/us.
The Premier Achievement Award shall be presented to a living member of the association who has graduated from Albertus within the last ten years who has excelled either professionally, within the community, or shown extraordinary loyalty and dedication to the College. (This award need not be given each year.)
