The Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management prepares individuals to apply business, management, sport, coaching, and physical education principles to the organization, administration, and management of sport businesses, athletic arenas, programs and teams, fitness/rehabilitation facilities, and health clubs, sport recreation services, and related services. Includes instruction in program planning and development; business and finance management principles; sales, marketing, and recreation; event promotion, scheduling, and management; facilities management; public relations; legal and ethical aspects of sports; and application of health and safety standards .
