Schedule an Appointment
Career Counselors are available to meet with students individually or in small groups to improve career development skills. The following is a sample list of services available:

Albertus Magnus College's Office of Career Services has a quick and effective way to schedule an appointment with staff members Patrick Clifford or Wiley Dawson. You will first need to login to Hire A Falcon (hireafalcon.albertus.edu). Once you are in Hire A Falcon, you will need to find the quicklink on the right entitled "Request a Career Counseling Appointment." The next step is to select the type of an appointment needed from the drop-down menu. Now you will need to check on availability and find a time that will work for your schedule. Once you have requested an appointment, you will receive a confirmation email when the career counselor has confirmed their availability.
The Office of Career Services is open for appointments on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

The National Association of Colleges and Employers 2016 Destination Survey (http://www.naceweb.org/job-market/graduate-outcomes/first-destination/) was shared with all Albertus Magnus College graduates who completed their degree between December 2015 and May 2016. Out of a total of 413 graduates, 72 responded to the survey.
A review of LinkedIn accounts produced 170 additional updates to the Destination Survey from the pool of graduates. Their Linkedin profile information reflected their employment status during the months of November and December of 2016 when the research was conducted.
The following is a summary of the statistics:
From our research, 59% of the graduates between December 2015 and May 2016 were located through the Destination Survey or LinkedIn search.
85% are currently working full-time
10% are currently continuing their education at the graduate level
5% are currently seeking full time employment
Of the 5% who are seeking employment:
- 11% were awarded an Associate's Degree
- 4% were awarded a Bachelor's Degree
- 3% were awarded a Master's Degree
The national results for the Class of 2016 have not been published, but last year NACE reported that 82% of the Class of 2015 at the national level were employed or in graduate school six months after graduation. Albertus Magnus College has found that 95% of our graduates for the Class of 2016 were employed full-time or are in graduate school six months after graduation.
