Laurel Awards Ceremony

Albertus honors and celebrates its newest graduates. At this ceremony, special awards are bestowed, honor society enrollees' names are recognized, and class speakers will address the audience.

Honorary Degree Luncheon

On Sunday, May 17th, 2015 Albertus Magnus College confered the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters upon the following distinguished individuals at the College's 92nd Commencement Exercises Brother James Branigan, C.S.C., The Honorable Toni Nathaniel Harp, Ellin M. Mulholland '51 and Sister Mauryeen O'Brien, O.P.

Erica Brite

Erica Schylon Bright, at right with Professor Hilda Speicher, is a veteran receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology through the College's accelerated Professional and Graduate Studies program. She is forever grateful for the veterans' benefits that have meant so much to her and her family.

Sarah Hovick

Sarah Hovick will receive the Master of Arts in Art Therapy degree. Two weeks ago she learned that she has received the 2015 American Art Therapy Association's prestigious national research award.

Mitchell Twins

Richard Mitchell and Riker Mitchell are twins. Each will receive a Bachelor of Science degree. Richard's degree is in biology, and he's heading for medical school. Riker's degree is in accounting and he will study for a master's degree in accounting. Both played on the Albertus soccer team.

Elvis Sanata

Elvis Santana hails from The Bronx. He will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational psychology. His goal: human resources director of a major corporation. He spent the fall semester studying in Austria.
