Accounting Five-Year Degree
Through a carefully designed course of study, students can earn their Bachelor of Science in Accounting and their Master of Science in Accounting in just five years. The program is designed to prepare students to successfully enter the growing field of public accounting in a timely manner. The five-year combined program will allow students to begin their graduate studies in their senior year and to complete their Master's degree in one year.
Students in the undergraduate program at Albertus Magnus College who are majoring in accounting may apply for the five-year option in their junior year. They may take two graduate courses in accounting while they are completing their last thirty undergraduate credits if they have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5.
Upon completion of their undergraduate degree, they will enter the M.S.A. program in the Division of Professional and Graduate Studies. They will be able to complete the program in one year by taking two courses per mod, which is considered a full-time course load.

Students are able to sit for this degree in Accounting. Students will meet the additional educational requirements for CPA certification when they have completed Master's degree in Accounting
On Campus Blended, or Online Courses
The M.S.A. program will be offered as a Dual Track Program. Students have the flexibility of choosing between blended or online options on a course-by-course basis.
M.S.A. Courses in the Evening
The M.S.A. portion of the program will be in the evening as an eight-week Accelerated Degree Program. This allows students to begin working in the field after completing their It is great to see what a good job Albertus four-year B.S.A.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 system
Completion of at least 24 undergraduate credits in accounting and 22 undergraduate credits in business
Two letters of recommendation from former professors or professional associates
Professors with both academic qualifications and real world experience
Proficiency in the English language, as demonstrated either by a TOEFL score of 575 or better, or successful academic work for at least three years at a college or university in an English-speaking country
A written essay of 500-600 words, double-spaced, detailing the applicant's professional interests, reasons for applying to the program, and educational expectations
A completed application form and non-refundable fee of $50.00
