The College provides peer tutors in mathematics to enable students to strengthen their numeracy and mathematical reasoning skills, as well as their ability to engage in statistical analysis.

Being a math tutor here at Albertus was such a great experience. I was able to use my skills to help other students achieve their learning goals. I loved working one-on-one because I could see just how much that little extra personalized attention made a difference. Peer tutoring makes learning more comfortable; asking a friend a question about a math problem is not as anxiety-laden as asking during class. The tutoring program breaks down those walls of fear and I am happy to say I have made many friendships because of it. -Sydney McAvoy, Class of 2011.
