DescriptionDr. Alan DelFavero is an Associate Professor of Accounting & Finance at Albertus Magnus College. He is also the Director of the Master of Science in Accounting and the Undergraduate Accounting & Finance Programs. Dr. DelFavero earned his D.B.A. in Finance from Sacred Heart University, where his doctoral dissertation focused on the impact of stock buyback announcements on abnormal returns for stock prices and credit default swaps. He also holds an M.B.A. and a B.S. from Sacred Heart University, as well. Dr. DelFavero’s teaching interests include financial accounting, cost accounting, taxation, auditing, international accounting and finance issues, corporate finance, and the financial markets.
