I started teaching in the United States in 1967. As a professor, my students and my teaching are very important to me. I am highly rewarded when I witness the professional accomplishments of my students in the fields of Psychology and Human Services making a difference in peoples' lives in their communities.

Honorary Ph.D. in Humane Letters (2012) for contributions to AMC.

Recognition award for contributions to the profession of art therapy by the Connecticut Art Therapy Association.

Title of Professor Emeritus from SCSU.

National Certification in Counseling

I have developed and co-developed a number of programs at Southern Connecticut State University and at Albertus Magnus College. At AMC I developed an undergraduate program in Human Services and co-developed a Master of Science in Human Services.

I have also developed a Master of Arts in Art Therapy program -- the only one in the State of Connecticut.
