Campus Public Safety
24 hours a day... 7 days a week...
The Albertus Magnus College Department of Public Safety continually works to ensure that the Campus remains unexposed to threat of loss or injury. It is the mission of the Department of Public Safety to provide campus security services which foster a safe and welcoming learning environment conducive to the mission of Albertus Magnus College, thereby improving the quality of campus life for students, faculty, and staff utilizing the most professional, effective campus safety services. It is important, however, that all members of the Albertus community – students, faculty and staff – contribute to making Albertus Magnus College campus comfortable and secure.
The College has a strong partnership with the City of New Haven Police Department (NHPD). During the evening hours, seven days a week while classes are in session, the College has a NHPD Officer on campus to work alongside of Public Safety. The Police Office has the authority to issue City of New Haven tickets and has full arrest powers.
Albertus Magnus strives to create a safe and secure environment for all within its community.
