Men’s Lacrosse
Overview |
Work under the direction of the head coach and assist with the administration of a
successful Division III athletic program. Responsibilities include coaching, recruiting,
instructing, advising, counseling, and other administrative and teaching duties as
assigned.
Graduate Assistant Coach Positions are limited to applicants seeking a Master of Business
Administration (MBA) or Master of Science in Management and Organizational Leadership
(MSMOL). Housing is provided along with a stipend.

Essential Functions |
- Assists the head coach with on-the-floor/field coaching of student-athletes during
practices, individual skill training, and games.
- Assists head coach in all aspects of administering an Albertus Magnus varsity sport.
- Completes assigned tasks necessary to functions of an NCAA DIII athletic department.
- Meets the academic requirements of an Albertus Magnus Graduate Student.

Qualifications |
- Acceptance to the Albertus Magnus College full-time graduate program.
- Bachelor’s degree required.

- A demonstrated commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy regarding the student-athlete
experience.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Special Work Schedule Requirements |
- Evening and some weekend hours are required.
- Graduate Assistant Coaches are expected to fulfill a two-year commitment to the Athletic
Department in line with the two-year department commitment to educational benefits
as outlined in the Graduate Assistant Contract.
- A Graduate Assistant Coach is expected to meet the expectations regarding time and
performance as established by the Head Coach and the department.
