Course: Ethical Issues in Business (MB-512-1) 

This course examines business ethics from both theoretical and applied points of view. Students will utilize fundamental ethical theory to analyze and explain contemporary business conditions and current events. Students will be asked to define their responsibilities as an individual and as part of a group, an organization, and society as a whole. Ethical issues in a variety of business areas will be considered; such as finance, marketing, human resources, and international. The focus will be on developing informed responses to the needs of a variety of stakeholders in making ethically-sound business ecisions. Throughout the course, students will be required to demonstrate effective communication skills, both oral and written. 3 credits
