Course: The Short Story (EN-220-1) A study of the thematic and stylistic range of the short story, with a concentration on the work of several English-language masters of the genre, such as Hawthorne, Poe, James, Crane, Joyce, Hemingway, O'Connor, and Oates. Generally offered every other year. 3 credits
