The award-winning musical "Godspell" returns to Act2Theatre on the weekends of April 19 through May 4. This marks the 37th anniversary of the show's first presentation at Albertus in the spring of 1976; it has been produced here every five years since. "Godspell," based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew, opened Off Broadway in 1976 with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz; top songs include "Day by Day," "Light of the World" and "Turn Back, O Man." The anniversary performance featuring Jason Adam Lerma as Jesus, Dan Schmidt as John/Judas and the return of alumnus Martin Scott Marchitto
