The New Yorker Prints Rafferty Poem

Charles Rafferty, director of the College’s Master of Fine Arts in Writing program, had his poem “The Man Explains His Souvenirs” published in the January 17 issue of The New Yorker. Rafferty received his M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Arkansas; he has written four books of poetry, and his work has appeared in several anthologies. The Albertus program, the first no residency M.F.A. in Connecticut, combines its on-line format with three Saturdays per semester of intensive classroom sessions and writing workshops on the New Haven campus.
