Admission Process:
For admission in the program, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum G.P.A. of 2.7 on a 4.0 system.
The following must be submitted to have an application for admission evaluated:
- An Application Form or Apply Online
- A non-refundable $50 Application Fee( made out to Albertus Magnus College.)
- Official transcripts from all degree granting institutions attended.
- Three letters of recommendation, including one from a current administrator (if applicable) all in sealed envelopes with the signature of the person making the recommendation across the sealed portion of the envelope.
- An essay limited to two double-spaced typed pages in which you respond to the following questions: What is your motivation for pursuing a M.S. in Education? What is your experience in working collaboratively with others towards a specific goal? What personal strengths do you have that will contribute to your success as an educator?
- Valid Connecticut initial teacher certificate.
- Proficiency in the English language as demonstrated by at least three years of successful academic work at a college or university using English as the primary language of instruction and evaluation or by a satisfactory score on the TOEFL exam.
