Admission Process:

For admission in the program, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a minimum G.P.A. of 2.7 on a 4.0 system.

The following must be submitted to have an application for admission evaluated:

  1. An Application Form or Apply Online
  2. A non-refundable $50 Application Fee( made out to Albertus Magnus College.)
  3. Official transcripts from all degree granting institutions attended.
  4. Three letters of recommendation, including one from a current administrator (if applicable) all in sealed envelopes with the signature of the person making the recommendation across the sealed portion of the envelope.
  5. An essay limited to two double-spaced typed pages in which you respond to the following questions: What is your motivation for pursuing a M.S. in Education? What is your experience in working collaboratively with others towards a specific goal? What personal strengths do you have that will contribute to your success as an educator?
  6. Valid Connecticut initial teacher certificate.
  7. Proficiency in the English language as demonstrated by at least three years of successful academic work at a college or university using English as the primary language of instruction and evaluation or by a satisfactory score on the TOEFL exam.
