Sister Maria Patricia Devaney Scholarship

This scholarship is a full tuition reduction for entering freshmen who graduate as the Valedictorian or Salutatorian of their high school class, with at least a 3.3 cumulative high school GPA*. This scholarship is awarded regardless of SAT scores, and is renewed annually provided the student maintains a 3.7 cumulative GPA. Students who maintain a 3.53-3.69 cumulative GPA will receive a one-half reduction in tuition.

Presidential Scholarship

This scholarship is a one third tuition reduction for entering freshmen who have a 3.2 cumulative GPA* and have attained a minimum SAT score, in Critical Reading and Math, of 1000 with no component score (Critical Reading/Math) lower than 450. This scholarship is renewed annually, provided the student maintains a 3.2 cumulative GPA.

Mohun Scholarship

In honor of Mother Stephanie Mohun, O.P., co-founder of Albertus Magnus College (1925), a $7,500 per year tuition reduction is awarded to students from Catholic high schools who have an average cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better*, SAT score in Critical Reading and Math of 950 with no component score (Critical Reading/Math) lower than 400, and one letter of recommendation. This scholarship is renewed annually, provided the student maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Transfer Scholarship

This scholarship is a $6,000 tuition reduction for students who are transferring to Albertus Magnus College from an accredited institution with a minimum of 30 credits and a cumulative GPA of 3.0. The scholarship is renewed annually, provided the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Saint Thomas Aquinas Grant

This grant offers up to a $7,500 reduction in tuition for students who show promise as active members of their community. Eligibility requirements:
  • For incoming freshmen
  • Students must have a three year (minimum of 40 hours per calendar year), documented history of exemplary community service
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0*
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • To be eligible for this grant, the student must complete and submit a 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • This grant is renewable annually provided the student maintains a cumulative 2.0 GPA.

Longstreth-Rudnick Science Grant

The Longstreth-Rudnick Science Grant offers up to a $7,500 tuition reduction. Eligibility requirements:

  • Are incoming freshmen that have demonstrated an interest in the sciences
  • A minimum SAT score in Critical Reading and Math of 1000 with no component score (Critical Reading/Math) of less that 450
  • 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. *
  • B or better coursework in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
  • Have demonstrated financial need
  • To be eligible for this grant, the student must complete and submit a 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

This grant is renewable annually provided the student maintains a cumulative 2.0 GPA.

Honorable Richard C. Lee Grants for New Haven Area Students

This grant is offered to students attending high school in New Haven, North Haven, West Haven, East Haven, Hamden, Orange, and Woodbridge who meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Up to a 75% tuition reduction for students with minimum SAT scores in Critical Reading and Math of 1100 and a cumulative GPA of 3.5*
  • Up to a 50% tuition reduction for students with minimum SAT scores in Critical Reading and Math of 1000, and a cumulative GPA of 3.0*
  • Up to a 25% tuition reduction for students with a minimum SAT scores in Critical Reading and Math of 900 and a cumulative GPA of 2.5*
  • Have demonstrated financial need
