2007-2008 SAAC Events

Listed Below are some of the SAAC Events from this past year.

The Jeremiah Project:  An organization designed to create opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills, to empower young adults and develop life-long healthy habits through the participation in athletic activities, educational enrichment programs and communtiy service. SAAC Members worked a 6-week youth soccer clinic in support of The Jeremiah Project.

Shelton Recreation Department Basketball Clinic/Fundraiser:  SAAC Members ran a basketball clinic to help teach basketball fundamentals as well as raise money for The Shelton Recreation Basketball Department.

New Haven Soup Kitchen Walk:  SAAC Members participated in a fundraiser walk in support of the New Haven Soup Kitchen.

Relay For Life Cancer Walk:  SAAC Members participated in a relay for life cancer walk at Amity Highschool to raise money in the fight against cancer.

Living Word Hoops Basketball Tournament: SAAC Members helped organizers of The Living Word Church Basketball Tournament.

New Haven Boys Club Basketball Tournament: SAAC Members are helping organizers run the Basketball Tournament.
