Traditional Undergraduate Requirements for Admission for Transfer Students
The Admission Counselors who will read
your application are interested in who you are, how
your
intellect
has developed while you have continued your education,
and what you hope to accomplish by making Albertus
Magnus College your academic home.
We do have some general requirements for Transfer students, but we welcome your individual contributions that help us to know more about you.
Required:
- A completed application form.
- An official transcript from each of the colleges
or universities that you have attended since graduating
from high school or receiving your G.E.D. (If you
are applying with less than 60 transferable credits*
we also require an official copy of your high school
transcript and SAT/ACT scores).
- At least one letter of academic recommendation
from a professor or academic advisor who is familiar
with the applicants academic ability and potential.
- A non-refundable application fee of thirty-five ($35) dollars.
Suggested:
- Any additional information the student chooses to include as support for his or her application such as writing samples, personal essay, a portfolio or resume.
- Campus visit and conversation with an admission counselor.
* Albertus Magnus College will transfer credits received from fully accredited colleges and universities where the student received grades of C or better.
