Loans

Albertus Magnus College participates in several loan programs including:

• Federal Stafford Loans - Subsidized (Need Based) and Unsubsidized (Non-Need Based)
• Federal Parental (PLUS) Loans - Non-Need Based loan for parent(s) of dependent students. The interest rate is variable and reviewed every July 1st .
• Federal Perkins Loans - Need Based loans for low-income families.
• Alternative Loan Programs - CT Family Education Loan Program (CT FELP), Signature, Educaid Select, Teri, P.L.A.T.O., and Key Alternative Loan

Ombudsman

The FSA Ombudsman works with student loan borrowers to informally resolve loan disputes and problems. They help borrowers having problems with the Stafford, PLUS, Direct, and Perkins loans and can be reached at (877) 557-2575 or at
