Psychology Department
What started with theorists like Sigmund Freud has developed into a discipline with many different interests, theories, and career pathways. The Psychology Department works to prepare students for careers in Education, the helping professions, as well as graduate study in Psychology itself. Students interested in creativity and helping others can pursue a concentration that will prepare them for our Master’s Program in Art Therapy (the only program in the state of Connecticut). Certified Art Therapists integrate the creative process with psychology’s tools to facilitate healing.
