Assistant Certified Athletic Trainer

The Albertus Magnus College athletic department is seeking 2 part-time Certified Athletic Trainers for the 10 varsity sport athletic program. The position is approximately 10-20 hours a week. Fall, winter, and spring sports include soccer, tennis, cross-country, basketball, softball, and baseball.

Qualifications:
Candidate must be certified by the NATA as a Certified Athletic Trainer. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Adjunct Faculty Positions

Albertus Magnus College, a leader is non-traditional education, is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct teaching assignments in the School of New Dimensions which offers undergraduate and graduate business programs for adult learners.  Courses are offered on weekday evenings throughout Connecticut – New Haven, Hartford, Stratford, Danbury, Waterbury, and Niantic.  Primary needs are for New Haven and Hartford sites; however, a willingness to travel to other sites, especially Niantic, is preferred.

Undergraduate instructors are sought for these areas:  Humanities/English, Psychology/Sociology, Science/Math/Statistics, Information Technology, Philosophy/Religion, Business Case Studies, Business Law/Business Ethics, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Health Care Management, Total Quality Management, and Accounting/Economics.  Master’s degree or Juris Doctorate and professional experience in the subject area are required.   

Graduate instructors are sought for these areas:  Managerial Ethics/Legal Issues, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Managerial Finance/Economics, Financial Analysis, Organizational Behavior/Development, Global Management, Operations, Entrepreneurship, Executive Management, and Strategic Thinking.  Doctorate or appropriate terminal degree and professional experience in the subject area are required.

Full-time Faculty Position in the areas of Strategic Management and Organizational Behavior
Albertus Magnus College seeks a full-time faculty member for a 12-month position that blends teaching and administrative responsibilities in a dynamic evening program for highly motivated adult professionals.  The College seeks an energetic and experienced individual who can work collaboratively in the development and delivery of the undergraduate and graduate business programs in the School of New Dimensions.

Qualifications
Doctorate required.  Candidates should have 3 years of teaching experience at the college level, 3 to 5 years of business experience, the ability to facilitate courses in a collaborative learning model, and the ability to advise adult professionals.  Candidates proximal to New Haven County, Connecticut, are preferred.

Position Open:  New Dimensions - Educational Assistant

The Educational Assistant will support the areas of Administration, Student Services, and Curriculum Development.   Duties include handling various departmental correspondence, filing, copying, and mailing.  Dealing with prospective and graduating students and tracking graduation data. Gather curriculum feedback and make textbook revisions, and taking minutes at various meetings. 

Requirements:  Excellent communication and organization skills; computer expertise; accuracy and attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.  Bachelors degree preferred.   Ability to work some evening hours as needed.

Financial Aid Operations Assistant

Job Description:

Albertus Magnus College seeks a highly motivated and well qualified individual for the position of Financial Aid Operations Assistant. The Financial Aid Operations Assistant will serve as Administrative Assistant to the Director of Financial Aid, he/she will be the primary receptionist and acts as a resource specialist for the office and Financial Aid Counselors.

Minimum Qualification:

Demonstrate strong customer service focus
Responsible experience in office administration
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently
Technical proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and PowerFAIDS
